Default radiator fan and water spluttering from exhaust

Managed to get my car started the immboliser light went off and it turned over.
Next problem the radiator fan came on even though the car was cold?
And some water not much spluttering from exhaust.
I am dreading bringing it to vauxhall there are so many problems at the moment.

OK the water spluttering has stopped now on the dashboard im getting the exhaust emission light has come on.
Instead of bringing it to vauxhall a trip to the scrap yard may be on the cards

The water might just be condensation in the exhaust. It happens quite a lot.
The sensor for the fan might be "duff" giving the wrong signals.

If the fan is on from when you start check the connector on the temp sender unit(on the Thermostat housing) has not fallen off.
