    Angry cruise control broken!

    Hi all, looing for help!

cruise conntrol is on the blink, when i click it the green dial appears on the dash for a fraction of a second, and then goes off......

    cleaned the stalk... no joy
    replaced stalk... no joy

i have seen that there is an issue with the switch under the clutch.brake pedal breaking, however i cant see it been that, as it wouldnt come on at all.....

i plugged the car into some diagnosis software. got the following codes

B3794 - Switch Cruise Control Circuit Malfunction
    (08) - Not present
B3794 - Switch Cruise Control Circuit Open or High Voltage
    (04) - Not present

    any ideas???????????????????? thanks

When you set it try lifting the pedal with your foot just to eliminate spring doesn't eliminate dodgy switch though

When my Cruise Control kept going off, I was told it registered a 'Circuit Malfunction Error' ; it turned out to be the CIM, though I was told it could have been the Clutch Switch. My Clutch Switch got replaced, but that did not cure the problem, replacing the CIM did.
