Got mine done under the networkQ warranty 1 day before it ran out @18k
If it is a leak rather than a puncher , I think you can get it done.

I thought it was everything on the car that was covered - apart from wear and tear items. If it needs a regas then doubt it would be covered.

Depends why is needs a regas. Had a problem with another car a couple of years ago. Needed regassing due to a leak. As the leak was covered by warranty, they regassed it after fixing the leak. No charge

You pay for the regas , that will include die.
If it shows a leak it will be covered, if it is not a stone puncher. After leak is fixed you will not pay for the re-regas.

Mine was re-gassed at the VX dealer last August - and leak checked. Is the work itself covered for 12 months?...
Will be calling another dealer to enquire I think before I go back

    Hi chewy71

I had mine repaired under warranty last August (it's a Dec 2008 1.8 SRI VVT). On my test drive when purchasing (18 month old car with only 3k on clock from VX main dealer) I noticed aircon OOO so they regassed.

A week later, not working again and they diagnosed condensor leaking.

Took weeks and weeks to get spare part (was on back order) and I complained to VX HQ, as summer was almost over by the time it was fixed.

Like stated by other, it could be an issue if condensor is damaged by stone etc but judging by the number of similar issues posted last summer, (especially on facelift models), I would argue that there is an issue with design (grill mesh letting stones through)? Had my old Veccy B for 9 years with no such issues - only needed 1 regas.

If you have any problems with dealer, worth arguing the case.

    Good luck
    Phil
