    Default just cleaned maf sensor and throttle body!!!!

    and the car is running far better, the throttle body was totally stinking!!!!

    how do i clean MAF sensor? I know its the unit at the start of the pipe that runs from airbox to throttle body, its attached to airbox by large jubilee clip? But which bit do I clean?

    i sprayed carb cleaner at mine when i first had the car,2t, turned off the warning light that was on!

    i gave mine a quick spray with carb cleaner im dont think thats the rite stuff 2 do it with tho, take it off and spray through the front of the maf sensor do not touch any of the sensors inside with ur fingers just spray it n leave it m8

    I used electrical contact cleaner,uncoupled the hose fitting,and just sprayed it in and left it.No problems. FELIXX.

    ok thanks. Since I'm not actually having any problem I'm probably best leaving it alone I reckon? Just thought it might be another little job to keep my car running smooth. Perhaps I'll have a little look see if it looks grubby.
