Default Alarm and immobiliser details for insurance

Im getting quotes for car insurance at present and want to make sure i enter the correct details.
I have an 07 cdti vectra exclusive, i dont have a handbook.
Does my car have an alarm?
    Does it have an immobiliser?
When I lock the car with the key fob does pressing the lock button twice set the alarm?
    Thanks everyone.

Basically the Vec has a Factory Fitted Alarm and Immobilizer. The second click of the key fob sets the Dead Locks IIRC.

Insurer should know that all Vectra 'C's have factory-fitted Thatcham cat 1 Alarm and immobiliser. It does ,make a difference to your insurance premium.

Depends on the insurer. Some insist on it, others don't. Its just another mine field.

years ago I had a 2.0 sierra () and I had to have an immobliser fitted, when I sold it (to my mum!) she didn't need one. When I asked why they said it was because I was more likely to leave it in dodgy places!
