Default Supermarket Fuel - Do You Use It?

Some say it is just as good as all other fuel, some think its crap.

Obviously Tesco don't approve of it!

I have used supermarket fuel for many years. I only use other brands when on holiday or on a day out, and there is nothing else about.

i have heard from a few mechanics thats supermarket stuff is crap , if your car has emissions problems the first thing they ask you is what fuel do you put in and then if you say asda , they say will you go and fill it up with proper stuff

lol - people seem to be missing my point!

Does all fuel sold in the UK not have to meet a certain standard? I use Morrison's due to price.

I would have thought so YES. It has been said that all fuel comes from the same refinaries. I won,t argue with that. But supermarkets might with the vast power be able to buy it cheaper. Or stand the loss by selling it cheaper than the bought it for?.
