    Default BSR OPTIFLOW FITTED 2.0t

    Well,

    just finished fitting my bsr optiflow to my 2.0t.It sounds amazing lol. Have to give it a week to make sure its ok and engine dosent over heat e.t.c

    as you can see from the pics i have the exisiting snorkel at the front of the cone. Is there any way of fitting a cold air feed to my car??

    it looks good and the piping looks the same positioning as mine and that was fine

    glad you got it fitted ok and any problems give me a shout

    You already have the cold air feed from your inlet pipe. But you could always remove it and replace with some bigger diameter stuff you can buy all over the internet. You could even contemplate removing a fog light and having that as a feed

    But that would be extremely chavvy :P So you wouldnt want to do that now would you lol.

    yeh, i was pondering about that idea? but had a look under the bonnet and there isnt a lot of space for a cold air feed?

    is heat soak not going to be a major problem? i fitted a basic induction filter to my car for like a day & it was getting way to hot for my liking! the fans would kick in once i parked it & that never happens!

    the bsr optiflow comes with a heat shield so that should block out engine heat. thats why i also am looking at fitting a cold air feed, but dont know how to lol

    I fitted a 80mm cold air feed removing the standard set-up, which which tight but worked fine
