Thumbs up 2 weeks of ownership...

Well my first 2 weeks of ownership is here and thisese are my thoughts.

The car (150 sri) pulled ok to begin with, but after a remap it really pulls like a train now, quite deceiving as it feels fairly pokey but the speedo does wizz round nicely I had Richard do all me interior LED's in red and that transforms the car. After a few garage problems, my car has finally been lowered 30mm (15mm in reality being an sri anyway) and waits for me at work, can't wait to see her tonight...

Problems? My TC warning light comes on now and again so need that looked at, and now Im noticing like a pulley type noise coming from the bottom offside of the engine. Im thinking that this will be a pulley (sounds like it) but im yet to investigate. Not loud at all, but its there.

Im so glad I didnt go for the ST mondeo over this. Most of the so called cdti problems affect alot of other deisels and on this car the repairs seem to be a tad cheaper (Ford injectors being an issue, with an £800 repair bill etc).

Im happy at the moment, the car seems to have been very much worth every penny. Lets hope the green flag doesnt earn its money either

    Money well spent methinks

To be 100% honest, going from the on board computer, it has increased to 48 mpg, so gone up by 2 mpg, which is nothing really, but 2nd and third gear the pull is fantastic considering it's a 1.9. Before and after is like chalk and cheese mate. I'm very happy with the mapping so far, I'll get in on the rollers soon and report back.
