Default Inlet manifold what do I need

As u can probably guess my swirl valve is no longer connected well not properly anyway have done the £1 fix it is a bit better but not as it should be so just wanting to know everything I need to replace it I have a mechanic who will do it for me just need to get the parts. Also part numbers would be great if you know them have had a quick search but as I'm currently using my phone it's not to easy

    Thanks sebadee

Yes it will - this would be the later modified one, current thinking seems to be that the modifications have worked to stop seizing and the manifold will not seize/stick.

However as far as I'm concerned the fact that the plastic swirl flaps rotate in an alloy housing means that the problem of wear in the bearing surfaces probably won't go away and leakage of pressure will start after a certain number of miles.

So unless the manifold is very cheap and you know it's very low mileage I would not bother with second hand unless less than £50?

It's such a pig of a job you don't want to do it twice!

I agree with mozzer, just get a new one off ebay that comes with the gasket, that it pretty much all you need
