    Default ABS issue's

As in the ABS light is on.
Now a bit of background, I have only had the car a short time and not long after taking posetion the light came on so i took it along to my local garage (who do all my work) and they read the code as bing the front right speed sensor. So i sourced the part and had them change it for me but the light will not reset and it is still reading the same code, c0040 They can't do anymore with it so here i am asking the experts ????

C0040 - Right Front Wheel Speed Circuit Malfunction?

Sounds like it might be worth checking the wiring and the connector under the wheelarch. The former might be damaged (look for obvious damage and things like bugles/kinks and check it's fastened into all of the brackets) and the latter might have leaked (check the pins are clean and shiny, and that the sockets haven't got water in them).

Is the new wheel hub that they fitted genuine or aftermarket? Some of the aftermarket ones don't always work properly.

Worth asking, but that sort of code usually clears itself as soon as whatever caused it has been fixed. The other option is to disconnect the battery negative terminal for half an hour to see if that will clear it.

Once I'd repaired my abs wiring took the car for a test drive after about 1/4 mile the light reset itself.
