Default Centre arm rest help needed..

My centre arm rest creeks like MAD and it well and truly does my tit in! I've thought about opening it up and then perhaps glueing some parts solid but I haven't tried anything yet. If anyone has had this problem and has fixed it gis a shout. let me know how I can sort this.

    Regards, Ste.

It's creaking whilst driving slightly but it's when you rest your arm on it. It's awful I recon taking it apart and just glueing it solid might work but I don't actually know how to take the rest off its hinge so to speak.

Check the bolts are tight. Just take the 12v Aux power socket cover off. Or just give the hinges a squirt of wd40 and see it that cures it.

thanks for the info das, Its more the 'body' of the rest. Its the plastic that its built from that is creeking. So to take the rest off you first have to remove the 12v socket from behind it and take it from there?

    Regards, Ste.

Yea, theres only 4 torx bolt hold them on, and a couple of torx screws holding the actual centre console down, theres one hidden under the front cup/coin holder too.

4 bolts hold the rest on, behind the 12v socket, you need to remove the ashtray and the plastic cover all the way up to the 12v socket, if you know what I mean.
