    Default Newbie in need!!

Hi guys, as per title of this thread im a bit confused!

Recently posted a thread about removing indicators. Got some good feedback and am going to attempt it tonight...

I havent bought the new indicators yet as my car hasnt got cruise control (2006 V6 SRI). It came as standard in all cars except this one as it is an ex police car...

How do I upgrade to cruise control....and WHAT IS TECH2?? I heard all i had to do is upgrade to this and I have no idea what it is.

Oh yeh my vectra is an auto, so im assuming adding CC shudnt be to difficult...Anyone got any idea on costs???

Also I think my ESP light is on and I dont know how to get it off..(theres no button lol)

Any help would be very appriciated!! Thanks

Ok, Tech2 is Vx's diagnostic/programming tool, it enables you to read codes, enable things like cruise etc.
Looking at the indicator stalk does this have a 'rocker' type switch on the end? If not you will need one that does have one. I have seen cruise in some of the menus and I think it is just a question of telling the car it is there BUT as yours is ex-plod there may be something else you need to do.

I think you'll also need to add the switch to the clutch pedal too. I'm sure i've read that some have not needed a tech2 session, just adding the stalk and clutch pedal switch was enough to get it working.
