Default Facelift headlight removal help !!

    Hi all .

Ive fitted a hid kit to me facelift and now the headlight keeps steaming up quite badly.

I know its down to the fact that i havent sealed around the hole i made for the wiring, also the ballast is just resting between the airbox and the back of the light.

what i need to do is get the light off and sort it all out.

is there a way of removing the headlights without fully taking the front bumper off??

ive looked in the how 2 section but it only shows a pre facelift as far as i can see.

also do yuo have any ideas where i can put the ballasts in a more permanent place?

    cheers

    steve

You need to remove the bumper mate, its a 10 min job

2 torx in each inner wing
4 torx joining to slam panel
    4 plastic rivets underneath

Did tou cut the holes to big, if you need new covers for the lights i have some spare you can have

the ballasts will sit in the purpose built recess under the lights where the factory ones sit - you could also try popping in a couple of sachets of silica gel to absorb the moisture in there
