    Default Light Cut polish needed..

After my little shopping trip for the new pads.. I need a very light abrasive polish.. the polish and general paint condition on my Megane is reasonably good so dont want to sart off to harsh with a heavy cutting polish..
can you recomend me a light cutting action polish in conjunction with the 3m pads I've just ordered.

I have found Meguiars#80 Speed Glaze to be very good, and fits your bill perfectly - I have all sorts of pads, 3M included and works very well, really does give a great finish with light cutting action.

Poorboys do a good range of very easy to understand cutting polishes, SSR1 would do the job. Bare in mind that AG SRP also has cutting ability so should not be ignored.

SRP is full of fillers, so the marks are only 'covered' and not removed, but works very well indeed IMO.

Meguiars my favourite, may have to get some #80 for my wife's, currently using #7 and #16 on mine, just got my hands on some #20 sealant, if I can remember whether to use it before or after the wax.......

I've used wilkinsons colour restorer for years. It's what I use after using 3m compound which is more abrasive. The colour restorer is nowhere near as heavy as the compound, and I then use their liquid polish to finish as it's non abrasive. That's wilkinsons as in this place http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/?awc=24...d48653e082c673 It's only £1.99 a bottle, but is the best stuff I've used and have used it for years now
