    Default oil in throttle body help

    just took the throttle body of to give it a clean as it was a bit oily.and when you look into the throttle body i can see alot of oil in there is this normal or is there a problem.thanks ste

    YES.It's being deposited via the crank case breather/ventilation system.If you want to avoid it have a look at winnie's post."DIY oil catch tank" in the How2 section.This will explain how and why it's happening. FELIXX.

    Quite normal with a lot of modern cars due to manufactures not being allowed to let engines breath to atmos.

    hi, I was looking for this in the How2 setion, but cant find it.
