How much . Sorry mate, you've been well and truly screwed.

Even one of the best gurus in the Home Counties, Tony Bones of http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/about-blackboots.php only charges £60

Gtr 1000 i did nt pay there prices i began backing out of the booking as soon as he started talking .
I started having my doubts about the bloke as soon as he said if i changed the wheels it would alter the settings.
And i thought kwik s++T were bad
since coming home and posting the original message i have had a chat with tony at wheels in motion and the cars going there on friday

so people you have been warned DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR MERIT TYRES

Even a dealership charging £70 for a basic front wheel alignment is cheaper!

I've paid £80 before for a full four wheel alignment check and adjustment

So what were they going to do for £150?
What size of wheels are fitted to your car?

Most places can handle wheels up to 18", above that requires special equipment and I have seen additional charges of around £120 for that
I believe the latest Porsche comes with 21" wheels, and the typical charge for that is £220
However, if you can afford that Porsche, then you deserve to be served with a higher charge...

thats stupid, a place in sittingbourne called tyremark has the proper full blown laser positioning alignment kit that attaches via the wheel and not the tyre giving more accurate results and meaning it dont matter how low the car is(or how big the wheels are, the owner has an aston and used that for the promo pics lol) and to do all the cambers and toe on my vectra(front camber adjustable coilovers fitted) he would usually only charge £90 but i know th owner so get mates rates, when ive put my new track rods on im gonna get it done as after fitting my coilovers it has way too much camber

    M8 internet
I have 18 in signa,s on there , basically there charges broke down to £24 per adjustment so if one wheel needed camber and a toe adjustmant that = 2 x £24 plus the set up charge then + vat etc

They're having a laugh at that
The normal practice is "free check, plus fee if adjustment is required"
The majority of cases the adjustment is required, at between £25 and £60

I've never heard of a fee per wheel...
Sounds like the owner or Manager is "at it"
"It costs us £20, so if you can fleece the mark, you can pocket the difference"...

Merit near me charges £79 for all 4.
They do a 2 fronts price, and a all 4 wheel price.

I am beginning to wonder what a letter to the management would do or are they a similar firm to kwik s==t and basically out to rip of everybody
