Caught Speeding....

Well in my case i must be younger than i feel , because i got done twice when i was 53

Well 48 and I'm touching a lump of wood as I say this- clean licence for nearly 25 yrs. Plenty before that when the heart ruled the head! The head wins everytime now. when I can remember that is! Lol

I started driving at 43.....got my first points at 53...two speeding offences in 3 weeks. Bobssignum and I must be telepathic.
In 5 years I'll be 63......but I'm not superstitious LOL

It's cause after 44 you drive like driving missing daisy, as your just not as aware, but before 42 you drive your car so it goes like a stabbed rat, but still aware enough to spot speed camera's, 43 is transition age where you drive you car like a stabbed rat, but have no idea what is going on around you, hence get caught

well im 42 and got caught speeding a month ago, not in my vxr but my 90bhp work van!, not once but twice with in 5 miles of each other, and im 43 in 18 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you got caught on the motorway or an A road that has no junctions/roundabouts I'd try to get both offences dealt with as just the one. I'm sure I read a report a while ago about a bloke caught by more than 1 camera on the same stretch of road but cos they couln't prove he'd accelerated/decelerated he only got 1 offence and 1 lot of points :0)

P.S. I think it was Jeremy Clarkson talking about it and it was in West London along the river

Yep my mate got got by 4 cameras on one stretch of road. He said he was only speeding once. Got away with just 3 points and £60 fine.

Apparently its been recorded on national statistics that the age men are most likely to get caught speeding is....

43 years old... not average... the actual age of 43.

This is going to be a difficult year for me as I'm 43 until December 2011 and with a clean licence...

Stage III is being done with the VXR so I'm now on Def Con One

Well im 60 and 30mph seems very fast and there's no chance of them putting points on my licence as i cant remember where ive put it,and if i did find it i would forget why i was looking for it
