Default Can you hear me at the back?

Gonna be off the site for the next couple of days. Going to Milton Keynes tomorrow ready for seeing Robbie Williams at the Bowl on Monday. Making a mini break out of it myself and Mrs Gripper have booked into a hotel and wont be back until Tuesday night. Well you got to when you can eh.

We saw the Robster there a couple of years ago and he was great so looking forward to round 2, just hoping that the weather holds out as it could be a bit of a pain if it persists it down like it did here in North Yorkshire on Thursday night.

Gripper....get there early!!!.... the queues are huge, and the parking isn't great either..

If you get this before you go and fancy a mini-meet, drop us a line..we're only 8 mins from the bowl and MK..

We went to see Mr Williams at the bowl on Thursday. Trust me it was excellent even though im not a fan. Orson and Basement Jaxx rocked too

We have seen Robbie three times, twice at the bowl and once at Knebworth.

We parked outside a mates house in MK, 35 minutes walk from the bowl as we have been stuck in event car parks for three hours before. Tried to get onto the M1 southbound but was chaotic so tried the A5 and got stuck between MK and Dunstable for two hours doing no more than 30mph. Finally got in at 2am with blistered feet, aching legs and no voice

    You'll have a great time

We saw some friends in MK last night and left theirs about midnight. The queue coming down the A5 to Dunstable was over 5 miles, lucky living local we used the back lanes.

I was going to try and get across to Leighton Buzzard from the A5 (to get onto the LB road into Hemel) but thought the traffic would die down as we got further into Dunstable, i was right it did die down but it still took ages to get into Dunstable from the roundabout we were at.

After the concert and when we got back into the car we tuned to 103.3 Horizon, who were doing a robbie evening and will be each night of his concert.

Still, great memories! some pics here -

I went last night and i agree it was a great day!

Orson pretty good, Basement Jaxx fantastic, Robbie fantastic he really interacts with the crowd!

I do like robbie but it was basement jaxx that persuaded me to go

You will have a great time - just dont need the toilet as the Q is mental and all the women can see you if you use the urinals

Wow!! just got back and what a fantastic concert it was too. Orson were not the best but Basement Jaxx were fantastic and are a bunch of nutters. Robbie, well.......he was great again. As I made a long week end of it and went with two other couples I did not go in my Vec but went in a mini bus from work.

We got there in plenty of time but still had to queue for two hours to get in. Once we got in we managed to get wrist bands for the inner circle and that got us right up the front. Satnding up all in all for 13 hours was worth it but my back was killing me by the time I got into bed this morning.

I am not a fan of Johny Wilkes and to be honest he did nothing when he came on stage to change my mind, I still have the oppinion that he is a free loader. I don't like Ant and Dec that much either but when they came on stage with Robbie as his special guests and closest mates they were great. They were very funny and entertained the crowd very well.

I would go and see him again thats for sure but my next event is Chubby Brown in Harrogate next month.
