Default Finally car insurance isn't sexist!!

Im amazed its been allowed to go on for as long as it did, but finally today the court of Human rights ruled that Insurance companies would not be allowed to use sex as a base for deciding insurance risk. Meaning mens insurance will go down and women's will go up.

TBH this is going to open a whole can of worms. So the next thing is why is it cheaper for older people, surly giving older people cheaper insurance is discriminating againts young people and you are not allowed to discriminate due to age, in the same way your not allowed to discriminate against sex or gender either.
Stats on the news showed that the average cost of an accident for an 18 year old female was over £2000 where as the cost for an 18 year old male was over £4000. So surly premiums are based on a sliding scale of Risk and not discrimination?
Where does this stop? Ive a funny feeling the only people who will benefit from this are the Insurance companies.

I don't think it is really discrimination. The facts speak for themselves, young men are more likely to have accidents!!!

When you get to my age (42) doesn't really matter, Fully Comp on my 2.0T is approx £200 and on my GSXR600 its only £95

    Experience counts for a lot.............
