VXR Stage III Power Upgrade

At last the VXR is booked into Courtenay Sport for its Stage III upgrade (only waited 3 years )

After much deliberation I've decided to reject the Garrett GT28 and GT30 turbos due to costs (not the turbo itself, but all the custom fixings they need).

So I'm sticking with the original plan and having:-

- Insignia VXR Turbo
- Larger Water Radiator (Double capacity)
- Iridium Spark Plugs
- 3" decatted Exhaust
- Custom Remap on Rolling Road

Also, Bigger Intercooler and Bigger Fuel Injectors (although these are subject to availability and I'm waiting on a date).

All being well, during March 2011 I will be running at Santa Pod for some 1/4 mile times.

No idea what power I'm going to get but should be around 325 BHP max and 430 Lb/ft *limited* with huge power gains through the rev range.

I'm more interested to see how this affects my 1/4 mile and terminal speed times (if at all)...

When you say you shall be at Pod in March, you there for TFS? I have my tickets booked and shall be there with the gf. Took my 2.0T down at PVS last year

So you know someone who can produce more power from a 2.0 Turbo and decide to troll my thread. How grown up of you.

If you've got 400 BHP out of your 2.0 Turbo then good for you. I'm sure its great. Post up your rolling road graph as I would be interested to see it... genuinely. If its not your graph, then dont bother as I'm not interested.

Most of the funds I've spent on my Vectra VXR power upgrade are actually around cooling, not just power and I am very happy with what I'm getting.

If you're not happy with what I'm getting then thats your issue and I would ask you kindly to go away
