    Default Insignia Washer Jets

    Evening peeps

Just wanted to ask peoples opinion on the insignia washer jets?

Are these a quick, easy and cheap mod?

Does anyone know if the direction on them needs to be adjusted on a 2007 vectra c xp1?

    Thanks

Straight swap mate, got them on mine. Some people have said they needed to adjust them (you can make an adjuster out of a bic biro lid), but mine slotted in and were angled perfect without any adjustment.

Take about 10 mins to fit both of them. Mine fitted and didnt need any adjustment, far more efficient when cleaning the windscreen.

You can either make a small tool from a pen lid, or buy one from ebay for a couple of £.

Great quick mod if you ask me.

Cheers Ian, I think a little £5 cheeky purchase off ebay may be in order

Are they pretty quick and straight forward to fit?

Yup very easy. Easier if you do it after there heat in the engine bay to make the pipes softer, or just pour some hot water over the pipes firstly.

I have them as well hardest part of the job is pulling them off the washer pipe as they are stuck fast mate.

I find I get a lot better water usage between refills as I can squirt less and clean more
