Hi can anyone tell me what this is for? I have just got a 2.0T twin exhaust that is straight through to the CAT.
What are the pros and cons of keeping the centre box?
Cheers

If you have a turbo car then the less boxes te less back pressure which means quicker turbo spool up and better performance
Would a de pre cat de cat n no centre pipe be loud?
Mine was straight through all boxes removed but I have stuck the back box on as it was illegal for mot but sound wise makes no difference its not noisy at all
Diesels just need a pipe no boxes at all only on turbo diesels thOugh
The performance and mpg has shot right up for me
Awesome, well thats going then lol.
Same lol
Remove the cat too this is very restrictive and will increase bhp and mpg and is perfectly legal on a diesel and will not fail a mot
Mine passed mot with no dpf cat and no pre cat with a reading of 0.6 on the smoke test with a fail limit of 1.5 so well with In limits
too ****** right its coming off lol, you need more power so you can keep up with me lol, untill i decat/centre mine
