The next phase of the project started this weekend. Steve from CCS came to my house to removed the Interior and took it away to his workshop for a bit of work to be done.

So out came the centre console and new cables were laid through the car.

3 x RCA
1 x Remote
3 x Speaker cables

Then along the drivers side sill, a new power cable from the battery.

It was pretty easy getting the cables into the boot area as the cabby has a nice plastic trunking which allowed easy access!

Then new front speakers from Alpines R Serires range were fitted, to add a nice little touch, I fitted small Alpine badges which are fitted as standard to top spec Freelander 2's, I got the idea from our Freelander 2.

Got to exchange the rear speakers, as the Alpine set I bought were too big, so they will go in once they have been swapper.

Then head unit in and all works a treat, just got to get a sub installed.

Should get the interior back within two weeks as I told Steve not to rush as the car isn't going anywhere.

Then I have to get her MOT's, taxed and on the road for April 1st!

I have also taken off the Eibach's and re-fitted the standard springs. I took the decision that it looked alot better with the standard ride height.
