    Default 1.9 engine breather.Question

Just making Shaw this is normal.
Have steam fuming from my engine breather a little. Noticed it for a while now, especially after a good thrashing and pull up behind a car at night. Little smoke around the headlights.
I have blocked the pipe breather pipe down to the turbo, then fed the engine breather pipe, the one that goes over the top of the engine, down under the car. No oil around pipe.
I now i should have a breather filter

You want to try extending the hose from the breather further away from the engine bay.(I've got mine routed along the side of the fuel line hangers and fixed behind the rear bumper). At the moment everything seems to be OK. FELIXX.

Yeah the steam / smoke is normal more so when engine is hot or has been thrashed mate I can see my smoke from my breather on a hot summers day in traffic but all normal I do get an occasional drip of oil out of mine that is normal too
