    Default what causes decreased mpg on a 150

    i have a 150 manual and went on a a good flap motoway run yesturday over 100 miles i average 51mpg that was setting the cruise at 65mph with no stop stary constand cruise at 65mph

    51 mpg seems a little low i think

    prob a dpf regen
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    may be nothing up and thats just normal figs im just going by quoted figs

    Unless it is a signum, estate or automatic (i see its a manual) - it won't have a dpf
    Was that from the fuel computer... i wouldn't rely on it. brim to brim is the only way to check for sure.
    Anyway, 50+ mpg is dcent, vx official figures give a maximum of 60mpg under ideal conditions. nobody can ever get more than 60mpg. I've never had 60mpg out of mine.

    i was only doing 65mph

    quoted figs are about 49 as a mix average this was all motoway

    prob just quoted figs are wrong they said my merv vxr average 32 even n mtoway max i ever saw was 24 lol

    yes was with bc1 on a cd 70 re set when i started cruise control its a 1.9 150 08 plate manual xp2

    in reality you were probably getting slightly more than the computer was saying.
    i wouldn't worry, your car sounds fine.
    another thing -- winter diesel gives slightly worse mpg than the summer stuff

    Seems ok to me.

    Poor fuel consumption can be a blocked air filter so check yours if dirty replace.

    A dragging brake like a rear caliper can go unoticed on the rear.

    I do beleive cruise can make you use more fuel slightly as if you were driving down a hill you may take your foot off the pedal.
