    Default exhaust cleaning advice

    hi boys iv got a custom made stainless steel exhaust with vxr tails anyway im having problems with cleaning them. as they get so hot you have salt and grit e.t.c sticking to them and also black soot that i cant realy remove dose anyone have any ideas on what i can do/use

    I always use Autoglym metal paste polish, it works wonders

    a good metal polish and some 0 gauge wire wool is what i use . khalid

    thank you both ive been using meguires metal cleaner and a cloth where do i get the wire wool from and will it scratch the tails ?

    I spray a 6:1 APC (using G101 from Autoglym) on mine and it's fine if there is tar a little tar remover to loosen it then a wash up and polish.
