Non vectra hid help please

have put hids in my dads jeep one is flasin the other is on but they seem to flicker and one of them once turned off does not come back on can any one help me please

SOunds like the ballast is dieing,

Swap them over and see if the fault moves

i have done mate and yes the fault did move but the other one flickers slightly

update i have put then straight to the battery and they work fine can anyone shed some light please really stuck
