Rear door - No electric window or interior light but Central Locking working!

This is a watered down re-post of a previous query that had no response.

However, it's now a serious problem as it affects the door we use to access the child seat in the rear and on a few occasions has nearly resulted in our daughter being locked inside the car with the keys as the car's not recognising the fact that this door's been opened and so 'auto-locking' the car again after 30 secondsa!

I noticed recently that the interior light was not staying on when the NSR door was opened and the electric window would not close/open fully unless you held the switch. Now, it (the window) wont open at all using the door switch or front switch BUT the lights are illuminated within the switch albeit more dimly than the others! The interior light has no operation from this door. However the central locking still works as does the speakers

The infamous 'Check Safeguard' message started appearing occasionally and now everytime I it's started. Coincidence or detecting a fault?

Do these cars have body control modules on the doors as I've seen advertised on ebay? Is it a wire?? Any clues or is it a TECH2 job to suss????

Try re-seating the large blue plug on the door, between door and pillar. If this doesn't help then it could be the micro switch on the lock mech.

Is it the usual twist and pull type affair?????

I think you have to lift the blue locking ring then it slides out, no twisting.
