Red face Exclusiv XP sits to high, help!

I have just bought a 150 diesel 2009 Exclusiv with the XP kit but only 17 inch wheels. I have just put on the typical VXR wheels but 18 inch with 40 profile tyres, they don't look the best, the wheel arches are far too high.

I guess I need to lower the car, can I just fit lower springs such as these:

    http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/Eibach-...and-Hatch.html

Or do I need to do something with the shock absorbers as well? I am hoping I can just fit some springs and drop the ride height a fair bit with doing anything else.

or if you dont want go that low get some SRi springs , i'd recommend EIBACHS though they improve looks, handling and ride comfort in one go ! just make sure the rear camber gets altered or your tyres will be shot in 3k

I have ordered some Koni springs which drop up to 40 mm, £90 from Regal, decent price I thought. Having a garage fit the springs, I want it done right, I have no experience of fitting springs.

Supplier let me down with the Koni springs, wrong price and very much delayed. I have bought http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/Apex-sp...-Vectra-C.html which should lower the car by 35mm. I am having them fitted next Wednesday, will post a picture when done.

Had a look at link and it says petrol model up to 1000kg front.

Think the cdti is 1060kg front. Not sure if them springs are the right weight for your 1.9 diesel.

Edit. Unless you choose the over 1000kg springs.
