DMF options

Hi all,

I suspect my DMF is going as its rattling in neutral before the bite, clutch pushed in no sound, and in gear no rattle also?

Any way the garage say its just the clutch cable!! so wont do anything about it. So thinking a head

Do i just drive it? how long do I have and whats going to happen?

Do i get a extended warranty? (anyone recommend one) and claim on that in a few months time.

Get funny with the garage as its just about to come out of warrany since I purchased it.

I've done 3k miles and its 83k on the clock. 2006 1.9 cdti 150.

Any advice people on my next steps?

For a start you dont have a clutch cable.

What warranty do you have?

They dont have cables! Its a hydralic pedal. They are fobbing you off I believe

ok, looking at the warranty paperwork
used car warranty blah blah

T&C
the warrany covers engine, gearbox and rear axkle as in 1 2 3 4

so 1 engine - clutch when effected by oil leaks excluding burnt or worn out clutches. no fly wheel mentioned.

external couplings ? anyone?

2 . gearbox - all internal components
5 cooling system mentions clutch again - clutch failure of the clutch plate, thrust bearing including oil contamination.

parts and labour 50% garage 50% customer (me)


So it looks to mention everything but the fly wheel
