DIY Nightlighting

Well with my image probs now sorted, (thanks guys!) thought I should post these, they're not the best quality, took them on my phone which actually came out better than my digital cam.

Its my own cheap 5min attempt at indirect nightlighting, a feature I always wanted but did not have on my gadget-barren 05 model.

Like I say, pics not fantastic, but it looks good. I wouldn't have picked blue myself but I took what I had. Nice soft light glow on top of the gear stick, gear surround and ashtray. And also the silver bar below the stereo screen.

Deep breath....

You know those gearknobs you can get with 6 little bright LED's in a circle on the top? Well back in my tasteless boy racer days (a whole 3yrs ago) I got one for the Corsa, anyway it was in a drawer, and I'd been wondering the whole time how I was gonna get LED's and wire them up to the the car, etc. So I took out the LED's from inside, its like a small microchip disc with the lights mounted, and a thin slot for a small lithium battery. Just wapped it nicely and stuck it with blutack (for now!!!! dont shoot me) to the windscreen behind my RV mirror and tilt into desired position. You can't see it sitting in the drivers seat. Then simply a case of switching it on and off. A bit makeshift, but I'm happy with the effect for now, the pics don't do it justice.
