    Default Interior lights

    Hi guys,

was wondering if anybody can put some light on this for me.

I have changed the front interior light to LED, which looks great. Though I am struggling to get the reading bulbs out, they are next on the list.

So then I ordered 2 more super bright LED's which I wanted to fit in the rear light. But once they are in, I noticed that the front main light does not go off completly. There is a very low glow still on regardless of the car or the lights being on or off. They do go off though once I put the normal bulbs back in
What could cause that and how can I have LED's on all interior lights without some staying on

Mine are exactly the same. Dunno why and it has never caused an issue, the draw from the battery is so minute it doesn't effect the battery.

Well that was my worry, so took the rear ones out for now as I dont want to find the car not starting tomorrow morning ...

Have you got any trick on how to get the reading lights in the front out?
Why did the have to make this stupid plastic pipe around them? Cant even get a grip on them to pull them down

Be careful using long nose pliers, i smashed a bulb even with gentle pressure and wrapped pliers in tissue! Was going to try a small piece of aquarium tubing, but in the end just unscrewed the whole unit, the bulb holder just twists out. i gave up on leds in the end, bought some mtec 501's, no problems and look good.
