    Default vectra 1.9 idle issue

hi everyone, need some help please

i have a idling issue on vectra 54 1.9 cdti 150, i start the car from cold and the engine is very lumpy even when starting from warm it can be lumpy. it can be lumpy on idle for upto to a 30secs then it is ok. i have no fault codes or engine lights, the whole car can shake. the idle speed doesn't go up or down

recently replaced dual mass flywheel, inlet manfold, egr valve, boost sensor cleaned.
i've looked at all pipes and can't find any splits.

Below is a Vx Field Remedy, as yours is an early car this may be the issue.

    Field Remedy: 2056
Subject: Engine Z19DT/L/H/J - Rough idle after cold start
    Models: Engines: Option:
    Vectra-C 2004...,Signum 2004...,Zafira-B 2005...,Astra-H 2004... Z19DTL| Z19DT| Z19DTH,Z19DTL| Z19DT| Z19DTH,Z19DTL| Z19DT| Z19DTH,Z19DT| Z19DTJ| Z19DTH| Z19DTL
Complaint: Bad idle behaviour after cold start at low ambient temperatures.
Cause: At low ambient temperatures a low battery voltage (<*1*>Due to low voltage the real injection quantity might not follow exactly the desired injection quantity. As soon as the battery voltage exceeds the values of 12 Volt or as the engine warms up (lower injection quantity) the idle speed quality will improve. Low voltage is caused by load response behaviour of the alternator, e.g. alternator need 1200 1/min initially in order to "start working". Once the engine was started and reved up > 1200 1/min the idle speed will stabilize w/o any cut offs. Problem might be reinforced as more electrical devices (auxiliary heater) are equipped to the system.
    Production:

    Remedy:
In case of customer complaint please explain situation to the customer.

Please note: There is no need to change any parts.

    FunctionalGroup: J - Engine
Complaint Group: 21 - Poor Startability
    Trouble Code: None

jus started the car and put a volt meter on the battery and is reading 13.5 volts. so i don't think its the issie mentioned above. after 30 odd secs within reviing, just leaving on idle the idle settles down, any chance this could be the glow plugs. thanks

Mine does exactly same like your`...sometimes cut off...and sometime not!

But sience lesj Posted the reply at this thread....in couple of mornings I just trart up the car and after 2-4 sec. rev it up more than 1200 rot and my surprise was is never cut off when rev it up...
So than what LESJ "says" is true...
So there is nothing to be wrong....
    Thanks all...
Please check and at your car just like I do and tell me if it cut off or no?
