Can anyone tell me, if I put a light tint on my windows, will it get rid of the factory green tint? It bugs me.

i have never noticed a tint on mine TBH
I have blinds instead of tints tho
I have the lightest tint on the front of mine and its fine cant see a green tinge.
I've got blinds in myself Paul, I don't know whether it was an optional extra to have a green tint, tbh it shows more when they're wet. I'd prefer a light smoke but I've a feeling the green will still be visible on the outside.
Thx mate, I'll have a think about it.
Remember its illegal to tint in front of the B post and Plod can make you take them off there and then,if they are in a bad mood you can also earn yourself a £60 fine and 3 points.
When i had my tints done at www.sctints.co.uk they fitted security film to my front windows which does take the green tinge away.

Cant upload my pic ....Dont know why ?
Thx mate, I think I'll have to put up with it, as I don't want anything to attract the nice policemans attention. I've had it over 3 years now so you'd think it wouldn't bother me, but it does lol.
if you were to have say a 50% tint all the way around and on the fronts that would get rid of the green factory tint, but as said it is illegal to tint front windows....
If you've already posted the same pic on here before it won't let you, I just open the pic with windows paint and put a dot anywhere on the pic, save it and you can upload it again.
I'm not keen on the rears being darker than the fronts and I certainly don't want anything illegal so sod it, I'll stick with the green. Thx mate.
if u get light smoke all around, the plod will leave u alone im sure.
PaZ!
