    Default Side repeaters

How do you get the orange filter out of them? Had a look and a quick attempt hammer and chisel style but i don't wanna go straight through a bust a hole in the side repeater lol

How has everybody else managed this simple task?

    Cheers, Ben

I've never heard of anyone removing the orange bit, they usually tint them or colour code them mate.

There's a small clip mate, push it towards the boot (i think) then pull out.

edit - didn't read properly, ignore that

thought lense was tinted, didn't think it had a filter in it. Agree with Badback, try tinting yourself or buy clear

Which side repeater? Front, side or rear? I thought it was just the orange tinge on the front bulb, no filter.

Yeah unfortuantely, these's an orange insert pushed down the tube you slide the bulb into, so was a bit dissapointed when i pulled out the bulb to see it's a clear bulb, cause then i knew what was coming next, a ****** orange filter That had something similiar on the mk3 astra gsi rear lights, whereby you could just smash the filter, remove the pieces and then pop in chrome coated, orange flashy bulbs. . . Just there's not all that much space to be able to crack this filter without going through the side repeater itself

It's a shame cause i've been out playing with the car most of the morning, doing little jobs and this is one of the last things that i wanted to get done today lol

I've had a look on ebay and i don't fancy any of the clear side repeaters tbh. Would like some clear black ones or some tinted ones, but cba to tint them myself Tint spray costs a bomb for the little use it'ld get. . .
