I've used it and noticed a good change in the engine. Seemed a hell of a lot quieter (but that could be me being a bit deaf after having my head next to a screaming turbo for the 10 minutes it takes). It does seem a lot smoother too. Got a lot of blue smoke out the back when I did it which suggests burning oil. There was a fair bit of 2 stroke in it at the time but having inspected the inlet manifold it appears it was all the crap from there coming out the pipe. It was much cleaner.
I'd really give it a go. Does seem to do a good job.
The amount of smoke that come outs shows it does something!
So are we saying any colour smoke coming out the back means its doing some sort of cleaning?
My emissions light was on and the car was idling a bit roughly, after a can of 10k boost through it the light cleared and it was definatly ran smoother. The can is massive and you will get a numb thumb pressing it to spray it into the engine ! It is also a 2 person job as you need to hold the revs above 2k during the process. I didnt have that much rubbish out the back.
Would I do it again, yep without doubt.
Doesn't smoke on every car, some report it does, some say it doesn't, believe Paul_SRi150 did it once and got nothing but the second time it was thick smoke.Originally Posted by signum_rob

first time it did smoke a little (not long after i got car) and the car ran smoother and pulled easyer, but then the 2nd time (12k after the 1st can) the smoke was insane! fogged my street out haha, but again car ran very well after, definatly recommend it every 10-15K, plus you do notice better mpg afterwards
Where would I buy a can of this stuff? Mines starting to feel clogged up abit now
Ebay, Halfords, local motor factors. I got mine from Halfords. Expect to pay about £20.
MPG increase ? whats £20 in 10 000 miles work out ?
