M62 car park

Anyone caught up in the M62 car park this morning around junction 24?

Apparently a lorry had over turned blocking all the lanes, meaning I had to get off at junction 23 and join everyone else crawling through towns and villages. Nightmare.

I set off at 06.50 this morning and got to work at 11.20. This journey normally takes me an hour tops.

I need a job closer to home.

Heard it on the traffic news.

M56 wasn't much better...two hours to do 47 miles. Can do it in 50 minutes normally.

hope its sorted by the time you head off home alex!! these things tend to take ages to regain anything that resembles normality!

To be honest I'm not fussed about delays on the way home. It's being late into work that causes the problem; it meant there was no IT support until I got in. My colleague who should of started at 10.00 is still not in.
