    Default fog light fitting

    hi guys
was thinking about fitting front fogs to the car- its a 2006 prefacelift vectra 1.9cdti design
i was just wondering is the wiring already there ie. is it just a plug in job or will it have to be wired in direct??
also can i get a vauxhall genuine front fog switch for inside

    any help appreciated

99.9% chance the wiring is not there. And its not just as simple as plugging it in either.
If you want it to look completely factory you will need to check you have the correct UEC(fusebox) and you will also need a Tech2 session at your local dealers. If you dont have the correct UEC you will need to change it.
I retrofitted front foglights to my preface. I got the lights and the wiring and just connected them in the old fashioned way using a relay and a small illuminated rocker switch fitted into one of the blank switch spaces on the dashboard.
To check and see if you have the wiring pop the bonnet and down the inside of the bumper, right in the middle you will see the outside temperature sender unit and the wiring to it coming from the NS of the car. If the wiring goes to the OF of the car chances are you have the wiring, if it doesnt you dont.

Ebay, as usual, is your best friend, that's where I got mine, lights loom and grills all in a oner. Post a pic of your bumper and hopefully others will be able to suggest the correct lights.
