Paul, I've lent mine out. If you want when I get it back I could post you the adapter that fits the Halfords one, it weighs nothing so easy to post. It uses a 1/4 inch drive off the top of my head. TBH I recon the adapter would be a good item for the club shop.

    Here you go...

    In its packet...

    On the kitchen worktop...

    Oblique angle...

    Note the shape.

The tool overall diameter is 41.0 mm. Pin diameter is 6.0 mm. Distance between outside edges of pins is 37.8 mm, inside edges 26.0 mm. The depth of the recess in the 'cup' is 2.8 mm. The pins protrude above the top edge of the 'cup' by 1.0 mm. All measured with my vernier calipers.

If you want to borrow the tool, I work near St. Albans. Let me know.

EDIT - What have I got then?

Arr, I have the Lazer tool, but I bought my adapter from the bay, yours is the real one, mine looks like its been manufactured after market if you get my drift.

This adaptor is for a 1.8 with solid discs, looks like the 3.2 V6 is different.
