    Default gearstick knob twisted

    How do you move a gearstick knob back into the correct position, I have tried by hand to twist it but its rock soild and will not turn, at the moment its at about 45 degs off!!!

    common problem mate , im suprised it didnt come off in your hand , the best thing to do is PULL it off and put it back in the correct position

    mate usually the gear knobs just fall off, then use some sealant of some sort to hold it in place, like i said common problem mate , you will find it very hard to twist back your best bet is to pull very hard

    mine came off whilst changing gear..... luckily vauxhall sorted it under warranty... but as above all they used was glue of some description

    It wont twist round as its on splines.
