Default Got to love shill bidding on ebay!

Was bidding on a cd30 and screen and was the only bidder until the last few seconds.

Checked the high bidder out, 100% of his bids are on the chap who was selling the stereo!!

Wonder if I will get a second chance offer!! BIN of £120 and bidding started at £40, no reserve.

this bugs me too!! its unfair!! if they want a specific price then set the start price somewhere near that price!! i have bid on a few things and then been outbid at last minute and then see it go back on sale from the original seller a day later!! :@

Just sent the seller a question

Let me know what your thoughts are.

Not bothered if I do end up with it but am kind of letting him know that he has been rumbled! And the winning bidders feedback is private!! lol

Seriously? I was trying to be nice and not make it too obvious that I would report him to ebay. If he wanted as close to the BIN price, he should have started the bidding higher!

    Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Just report him. This is one of the reasons ebay introduced that, to see who was cheating the system. Youd think that if nothing else he would have just advertised it as advertised elsewhere and withdraw at the last moment. Hey at least he still has to pay the listing and final selling fee's.

Yep, going to wait and see if he responds to my email, if not then I will report him. That should suspend the two of them.

Was bidding on an electric impact wrench too, found another shill on there! makes ebay a bigger joke than it already is.

You could be wrong about it being a shill bidder.. How can you know it is.. The bid history is only over last 30 days, and the highest bidder has only bid once in last 30 days, so his bid history over past 30 days with the seller is 100%... It says your bid history with that seller is 50% over last 30 days.. The highest bidder could be genuin (and probably is genuine) and you've sent the seller a message in a sort of way subtley suggesting him of wrong doing.. Hmmm...
