    Default DA polishing accessories..

Dont want to spend a fortune..but I need some polishing heads for my das 6..
Just wondering if you can reccomend me the basics..
I know it comes with a 6" backing plate so need 6" pads... should I also get 4" backing plate or 3.5" for bumpers etc?..

I know elite car care do a package of polishing heads, just wondering if they are any good as a starter package..

probably got £40-50 to spend for now ;-)

im in the same boat as you. i was recommended to get 6.5inch pad for the included backing plate and then a 3.5inch backing plate for a 4inch pad as this should cover most things i went for hex logic pads as they seem quite popular now as well. i went for orange, white and black pads as that should cover everything. just waiting for it to arrive now

I went for Hexologic also, but white, black and red as my paintwork's pretty good. later I'll get the 4 inch ones for smaller/tight areas.
Can always sign up for the forum trip to Meguiars in March, get some tips on how it's done and what to use when.

the smaller pads are good for those tight areas and fiddly bits but you will find a large pad is good, ensure you get some good masking tape to keep the pads off your lights etc.
