    Default Ball joint issues

My friend recently had an Astra serviced at vauxhall and they inspected that the ball joint is loose. Not so sure if its true, How can i tell when the ball joint is loose/on way out, apart from looking under the car? Can i tell by driving the car?

if its bad then you will feel knocking when turning also the car will pull slighty or bad (depending on how bad it is) jack it up under the wishbone so that the wheel is just off the floor and bar under the tyre if its going you will feel lift in the wheel and also hear it, but you have to jack it on wishbone otherwise you will feel lift fron the wishbone bushes
