    Default Tramlines

    Tramling,why does it happen ?
And why does it only seem to happen when people have incressed tyre/wheel size ?
Can it be reduced, without reducing tyre/wheel size ?
Would adding spacers make it worse ?
Is tramling a handling issue that will effect cornering/roadholding ?
    Will effect tyre wear ?

The smaller the profile and the larger the wheel the more you notice it

When I started driving, the car had 13" wheels on 65 profile
My previous two cars had 16" wheels on 55 profile

My current car had 17" wheels on 50 profile, I didn't notice tramlining
However, now that I am using 45 profile it is more noticeable

The worst I have experienced is on 255/35R20 in lane 1 of the M74

It makes noise over speedbumps and rolls a lot when cornering so i think they need doing.
I didn't know how to describe the steering thing, that link was helpful.

They look like a good company.
I may try them for my wheel alignment.
