At the end of the day unless you drive like a nutter everywhere the

cheaper option will be ok .
I bought a set of 314mm discs and pads from my local dealer for 65 quid so it's very possible

    You do the math.
Yep, it all depends on mileage done and what you want out of your car,

my 2.2. dti sri is now my daily drive and forget car i keep it reliable , and

thats that , good economic roomy car, as for rattles come on its a 9

year old Vauxhall as I say ya pays ya money ya takes ya choice.

Vauxhalls are cheap reliable motors. I treat mine as that and I am not

    dissappointed .

Cheers for all the posts. I thought it may be too good to be true but asked on the off chance that they may have been ok. For the extra £30 or so I'll get some decent ones. After all I do want to stop when I hit the middle peddle.

And another thing, at the risk of digressing to a techy subject.

I rang VX dealer and quoted £70 front set pads and discs and £75 for rears +VAT.

what he told me though was that there are two sizes for the front and that the rears come as solid or vented.

I have a 1.9 SRI CDTI 8V 120BP so what discs should I have? I thought 314mm vented front and solid rears but he's got me thinking now, especially as when typing my reg in Euro parts website it only quotes me as 285mm (or near that, cant remember) as availble for my car. Short of taking the wheels off anyone any ideas?
