    Default Radio Problem

I have only recently started having a problem with my radio. When I turn off the ignition, everything swithes off as normal, however after locking the car the radio comes on for no reason. This has caused my battery to go flat on two occassions now! I've had to remove the fuse for the radio as a temporary fix. Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it!!??

My guess would be a CD30. They've been known to have a mind of their own and switch themselves back on.

It is a known problem, and for a while Vauxhall were replacing them (not sure if when still under warranty though)

IIRC, I'm sure I've read somewhere that it tends to happen if there isn't a CD in the stereo - so the obvious solution would be to put one in the CD player and see if it still does it.

You could also try turning off the ignition logic (in the stereo settings), but you'd have to remember to manually turn the stereo off whenever you took the keys out the ignition.

EDIT - found this via a quick google - http://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co....30#post1801523
