    Isn't it there to stop the shocks from bottoming out, can't see how it would lower the car.

    The only thing you could remove that would make it lower would be the upper and lower rubbers but then the springs would knock and wear etc. If you want it to sit lower at the back get some slabs in the boot

    I think you remove the bottom ones when fitting coilovers as they have their own seat

    Ach well, had the springs on for about 2 weeks now and it seems to have settled OK, just the back sits a bit higher than I would have thought.

    Where is my angle grinder......
