interior light switch illumination?

Can anybody confirm if the interior light switch on my 2006 vec sri should be illuminated or not? regards Mike

its not the function of the switch its whether the actual switch is illuminated at night.

Depends on the light unit! When I bought my 56 plate Veccy C the switches weren't lit but after a change to a unit which has the reading lights built in then yes they do Also missing the rear interior light which I've fitted but they don't light up - obviously
All the interior light switches on the 'main' light are lit when the sidelights are on.

My four button light has illuminated buttons (3mm led's) so did my old two button light.
It may be possible to put led's in if you don't have them already.
