If you've never run it with redex just stick the whole bottle in... it will not do no harm.
I have thrown a full bottle in with £10's worth of diesel in my motor when i first bought it & gave it the old italian tune up

It may throw a small amount of smoke out when it first get throught the system (while it's burning the carbon build up etc) but it won't last & if your doing a long journey imo it's the best time to do it.

If there is no additive already in the fuel tank, and providing there is at least 25 litres, you can add 250ml

However there is little or no benefit to be had, as the fuel will already have suitable additives
What you might want to consider is using 5:1 ratio on a higher grade fuel
ie, Fill with 25 litres of high grade fuel, then four lots of standard fuel (same volume), costing about an extra £1.25 per 25 litres (just over £2.50 per tank)
