I've just ordered an Insignia to replace my 08 Vectra SRi.
I managed to test drive a VX-Line Red at a local garage the other day, and to be honest it looks fantastic 'in the metal' compared with on the pictures... I was actually really pleased with it.
Gone for the Insignia 2.0 CDTi 160 Vx-Line Red Nav with VXR Styling Pack, 20" 5 twin spoke Alloys, CD500 Nav, Bluetooth, Front & Rear Parking Sensors, (all included with VX-Line Red model) and Sport Leather Pack,
Adaptive Forward Lighting & Sight & Light Pack, Folding door mirrors, Tyre pressure monitoring system, Infinity sound system, and Dark Headlining & VXR steering wheel.
Just shy of £8k off list price..., but strangely cheaper than an SRi Nav with exactly the same spec in white... The money I've saved will go on a private plate and the Infinity system!
Vauxhall have confirmed delivery in 8-10 weeks - can hardly wait!
My Vectra is hopefully being sold this weekend rather than PX'ing it. The dealer told me they would give me £7,500 for it (2008 cdti sri nav done 34k) and I asked what they'd sell it on for, and he said £9,500!!!! So selling it privately rather than letting a stealer make a further £2k off my old car!
So, I could be slightly car-less until the new one arrives... oh well worth the wait...
