    Default Just ordered my insignia...!

I've just ordered an Insignia to replace my 08 Vectra SRi.

I managed to test drive a VX-Line Red at a local garage the other day, and to be honest it looks fantastic 'in the metal' compared with on the pictures... I was actually really pleased with it.

Gone for the Insignia 2.0 CDTi 160 Vx-Line Red Nav with VXR Styling Pack, 20" 5 twin spoke Alloys, CD500 Nav, Bluetooth, Front & Rear Parking Sensors, (all included with VX-Line Red model) and Sport Leather Pack,
Adaptive Forward Lighting & Sight & Light Pack, Folding door mirrors, Tyre pressure monitoring system, Infinity sound system, and Dark Headlining & VXR steering wheel.

Just shy of £8k off list price..., but strangely cheaper than an SRi Nav with exactly the same spec in white... The money I've saved will go on a private plate and the Infinity system!

Vauxhall have confirmed delivery in 8-10 weeks - can hardly wait!

My Vectra is hopefully being sold this weekend rather than PX'ing it. The dealer told me they would give me £7,500 for it (2008 cdti sri nav done 34k) and I asked what they'd sell it on for, and he said £9,500!!!! So selling it privately rather than letting a stealer make a further £2k off my old car!

So, I could be slightly car-less until the new one arrives... oh well worth the wait...

Excellent mate.. great spec.. but tbh i would spend the money on decent speakers rather than infinity as you can tell the difference over a standard.. and tbh the standard speakers are very good actually

Thanks mate. There seem to be loads of people raving about the infinity, so thought I'd give it a go... I usually wire a sub into the standard stereo using some RCA adaptors which take the feed off the speakers, however I didn't fancy pulling the insignia's complicated Navi system apart!!!

The mrs like a bit of boom boom, so it keeps her happy!

Thanks mate...According to Vauxhall (and not the dealer, VX UK) the insignia's which are currently being delayed (by as much as 20 weeks in some cases!) are the EcoFlex models. I am sure mine will take longer (sod's law!) but I'm not in a huge rush for a car, just wish I had ordered it last year now to be registered on the 1st March (my birthday - what a great present that would have been!)

Its not too hard to put a sub in with nav mate.. thats what ive done.. the hardest part is figuring how it comes apart but if you need a hand a can send you a link on how to do it.. but tbh Aftermarket speakers/standard and definatley a sub... i couldnt go without mine lol... i had my car a week and the first day put hids in and at the weekend fitted the sub and amp and all my led interior and exterior bulbs

Nice spec that, Expect your car in around 11-12weeks, whilst the delivery information you have been given is correct, because you have opted for parking sensors its +3weeks on top of the standard order time, which will take you to week 18 which is the week begining the 2nd of May.

That's a lovely spec and I nearly cancelled my vx line nav in White because they launched it 2 weeks after I placed my order

I bet you can't wait I patiently and not so patiently waited 18 weeks for mine as I wanted the 20" wheels as factory fit so a special build was done and I believe it was the 1st in uk.... That's what dealer said anyway

Look forward to seeing your pics when it arrives.
